Pandemonium hit Uemon today as a massive supercapital battle raged in the lowsec system. Northern Coalition forces clashed in full force with a Drone Russian fleet augmented by a Raiden. supercapital fleet.
While it is difficult this soon after the battle, it appears that the Northern Coalition forces noticed the DRF task force preparing an invasion and decided to hotdrop the DRF forces. However, they were counter-dropped by DRF reinforcements, which included Raiden. forces.
Initial reports indicate that 9 NC Titans were downed; 4 from RAWR, 3 from RZR, 1 from R.A.G.E and 1 from ME. The NC fleet also lost 2 supercarriers; 1 Hel and 1 Nyx, both from RAWR. The DRF fleet lost 2 Raiden. Titans and a Nyx-class supercarrier. Red Alliance lost 1 Nyx as well. There have been as-yet unconfirmed reports that an additional 2 NC Titans were lost in the battle and there may be additional losses on both sides. There were also assorted capital and subcapital losses on both sides (but that isn’t why you’re reading this, is it, dear reader? -Editor.)
Update: Now that the dust has settled, the butcher’s bill is as follows:
NC losses: 10 Titans, 5 Supercarriers.
DRF/Raiden.: 2 Titans, 2 Supercarriers
