The original post regarding TEST resetting Apotheosis of Virtue has some misinformation and is confusing two separate but similar issues.

AoV was given one week to get three people into a room on the TEST jabber server. These three people did not have to be FCs. They could have been diplomats, directors, or anyone else that was considered “leadership” in any way, shape, or form.

AoV failed to do so. We repeatedly attempted to poke AoV and FA over the course of the week to get three or more AoV members in a jabber room but it never happened. We gave them another day past the deadline before taking any action and did not purposely select a time when FA/AoV leadership was unavailable. We acted because the deadline and extension had both passed. We attempted to contact leadership in both FA and AoV before acting but nobody responded.

TEST does not want these systems. There are no notable moons and the true security of the systems are not anything exceptional. In fact, we are in the process of transferring these systems back to Fatal Ascension.

Apotheosis of Virtue was invited to Fountain by TEST because they demonstrated a high level of coordination and participation for the size of the alliance during our Catch campaign. We like to reward and encourage such coordination and activity as much as possible; however, as soon as we moved them into Fountain, they simply stopped participating in TEST fleets and talking to TEST leadership. While we did place them as “guests” of Fatal Ascension, it is ultimately TEST’s responsibility to make sure that all inhabitants of Fountain are pulling their weight and contributing to the defense and stability of the entire region.

With that said, we did not reset Apotheosis of Virtue and they are still welcome in Fountain in the Fatal Ascension systems. We in TEST like to think we treat our allies fairly and that they are fully aware of what is expected of them. These expectations are pretty simple: Don’t be a douche and show up on fleets when possible. AoV did not fulfill these expectations and so they lost their sov.
